The advantage of ceramics

Outstanding aesthetics

The natural white colour of zirconia cannot be seen through gums tissue, especially in patients with thin a biotype of gingiva.

Biocompatibile

Zirconia is a biocompatible material, which is FDA approved and considered safe. Implants made of zirconia are non-toxic to the human body.

No release of titanium ions

Recent studies have indicated that increased levels of dissolved titanium, which are released into the surrounding tissue and human body by titanium implants may be associated with periimplantitis and other health problems.

Optimal osseointegration

Results of clinical studies demonstrate that osseointegration of zirconia implants is comparable with titanium implants.

Low plaque affinity

Zirconia implants have low plaque affinity. Zirconia abutments have an excellent soft tissue response, resulting in a lower risk of a peri-implant disease.

Magnetic resonance imaging

Zircona material has much less effect on MRI image distortion than metals
